When you create an assessment, the app automatically switches to the "calibration marker mode".
If you do not have calibration markers yet, you can print or order them. Alternatively, click on "Manual mode" in the app to measure the wound with a ruler.

Position the smartphone camera as parallel as possible to the wound surface. The distance to the wound should be between 10 and 30 cm.
As soon as the green box appears, you can take a photo with a tap on the white button.

To capture the wound edge as accurately as possible, you can zoom in on the wound.
You can encircle the wound directly on the screen with your finger.

The edge does not have to be perfect right away. You can tap on one of the green dots again and adjust the edge.
When everything is fine, click on "Measure" in the upper right corner.

Now the measurement results are shown. You can also add the depth of the wound in mm.
If everything is correct, click "Continue" at the top right, which will lead you to the status and therapy documentation of a wound.
